Greenpeace banner on Hatsfield Ferry

C062304003-23JUN2004-UNIONTOWN, PA, USA: Members of the environmental group, Greenpeace, scaled 700 feet smoke stacks at the Hatsfield Ferry plant, 23 June 2004, in Uniontown, Pennsylvania. The activists hung a banner to protest the Bush Administration’s energy plan. The Hatsfield Ferry facility is a coal burning power plant. It had been under investigation by the EPA for violating the Clean Air Act. The invitigation was dropped in 2001.
