John Nielsen-Gammon is not happy with the appeals court decision that upheld EPA GHG emissions rules concluding:
Until there’s a reasonably intelligent scheme, approved by Congress and the Administration, for regulating greenhouse gases effectively and appropriately on a national and intenational level, the present absurd approach is mandated by law.
To me this seems like plenty of motivation for congress to pass a reasonably intelligent scheme for regulating greenhouse gases effectively and appropriately. I won’t hold my breath.
Aw, I think the ruling is probably correct as a matter of law, though I’m not a lawyer. What I’m not happy about is a Congress that can’t tackle any problems in a meaningful way.
That is what I meant though I wasn’t clear on that. Thanks.
