A clever analogy. Resource constraints are immune to economic ideology but perhaps the “resourceless” digital revolution managed to partially offset the curve for a few decades.
The video reminds me a favorite morning DJ in Toronto that used to parody ‘Crazy Larry’-style retailers selling stereos at ostensibly far below cost. “How do we do it? Volume!”
This video reminded me of one that David Suzuki did with the [Canadian] National Film Board, using a test tube analogy. Very much in keeping with the intention of this site I think.
