Sukhothai was amazing; it is a UN world heritage site, its main attraction are the many ruins from Thailand’s first capital.
these ruins are huge
and there are offerings (usually flowers everywhere)
This was the biggest Buddha in the park
over 15 meters tall!
Buddhas don’t come any bigger than this.
even the gas stations are old!
As the day came to an end we caught the last bus out of old Sukhothai.
