Yesterday we decided on a whim to go spend some time in Malaysia. The differences between Thailand and Malaysia are interesting to observe, the whole general feel of Malaysia differs from Thailand, but it is difficult to describe it.
We spent the whole day yesterday (from 5am to midnight) traveling by trains from Hat Yai (Thailand) to Jerantut (Malaysia), where are are now staying. Tomorrow we will be heading to Taman Negara National Park, an area of lush primary jungle over 130 million years old! It sounds impressive, and we have no idea how long we will spend in the jungle… we may never get out.
